St. Petersburg Surveys

September 2012 City of St. Petersburg General Survey

Telephone survey of registered voters within the City of St Petersburg, conducted on September 17th and 18th, 2012:

In our mid-September St. Petersburg general city poll, we asked about a possible new Rays baseball stadium, the Lens pier, bonuses for city employees and several more questions. The Pier question generated more feedback from respondents than we have ever had before, most of them not happy about the lack of a "refurbishment" or "other" option. The Mayor and City Council both saw their approval ratings rebound slightly after dropping last month. Red light cameras saw their approval go down slightly.

Total people polled: 1876

These results were scientifically weighted by political party, race, gender and age.
Margin of error: ± 2.3% at a 95% confidence level
