August 2012 Republican Primary Election, Early Voters

Telephone survey of early voters within the state of Florida for the August 14 primary election, conducted on August 11th through August 12th, 2012:

All local races involving Pinellas County public offices are included. Statewide races like U.S. Senate are excluded. Democratic Congressional District 13 race is excluded because there is only one candidate.

Voters are only polled on the races that are included in their individual precinct and political party.

Total people polled: 4676

These results are scientifically weighted by race, gender and age, except for single-party races where party is not used as a weighting factor.


In the Florida primary race for US Senator do you support Connie Mack, Mike McCalister, Marielena Stuart or Dave Weldon?
Connie Mack:         61.4%
Mike McCalister:   10.7%
Marielena Stuart:     5.6%
Dave Weldon:         22.2%

In the Republican primary for State Senator from District 4 do you support Aaron Bean or Mike Weinstein?
Aaron Bean:       61.8%
Mike Weinstein: 38.2%

In the Republican primary for State Senator from District 8 do you support Pat Patterson or Dorothy L. Hukill?
Pat Patterson:     59.9%
Dorothy L. Hukill: 30.1%

In the Republican primary for State Senator from District 17 do you support John Korsak, John Legg or Rob Wallace?
John Korsak: 16.9%
John Legg:     61.5%
Rob Wallace: 21.7%

In the Republican primary for State Senator from District 22 do you support Jeff Brandes or James C. Jim Frishe?
Jeff Brandes:               64.1%
James C. “Jim” Frishe: 35.9%

In the Republican primary for State Senator from District 24 do you support Rachel Burgin or Tom Lee?
Rachel Burgin: 41.4%
Tom Lee:         58.6%

In the Republican primary for State Representative from District 106 do you support Kathleen Passidomo or David Bolduc?
Kathleen Passidomo: 71.1%
David Bolduc:             28.9%

In the Republican primary for Pinellas County Sheriff do you support Bob Gualtieri or Everett Rice?
Bob Gualtieri:   59.4%
Everett Rice:    40.6%
